What is Vinasse?
Vinasse is the industrial waste of alcohol distilleries where they employ biotechnological methods on Molasses Vinasse contains 93% water and 7% of dry matter which includes insoluble materials.

Vinasse is also rich in nutrients such as Phosphates and Nitrates which play an important role in plants growth. Vinasse is a non-hazardous waste as it is free of heavy metals. Due to the effect of yeasts and organic materials. As Vinasse is also rich in amino acids and protein, it can be used as animal feed. Vinasse has a high adhesive characteristic so it can be utilized as a plant mulch while it is spread on roads and sandy areas.
Currently Methane with 40 to 60% purity is extracted from Vinasse using the biological waste refinery methods and anaerobic bioreactors.
